Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest care through the implementation of established service criteria
• Extend a friendly and authentic greeting to guests as they arrive
• Rapidly analyze guest needs and customize your interactions accordingly
• Assist customers by sharing insights on product features and offering solutions to their inquiries
• Make sure that scanning, bagging, and payment processing are done accurately and promptly
• Ensure your work area is neat and orderly at all times
• Keep guests updated on promotions, recent debuts, and happenings at the store
• Urge guests to join loyalty initiatives and to explore the option of obtaining store credit cards
• Provide support to customers in leveraging digital platforms like the store's app and online amenities effectively
• Adhere to store policies when processing returns to maintain guest approval
• Streamline the pickup procedure for orders, drive-up services, and transactions associated with gift registry purchases
• Assist in managing and resolving guest complaints while maintaining adherence to store guidelines
• Ensure that regulated items meet the necessary requirements set by federal, state, and local legislation
• Provide support for overall store functions as necessary in response to business requirements

Job Requirements:

• Handling cash transactions with accuracy and effectively managing register functions
• Proficiency in carrying out assignments outdoors amidst diverse weather circumstances
• Regularly moving and carrying merchandise that weighs up to 15 lbs, with occasional lifting tasks involving items up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
