Customer Assistance Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding guest service by following established service standards
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and authentic manner
• Quickly assess guest needs and tailor your approach accordingly
• Assist guests by offering product knowledge and solutions
• Ensure accurate and efficient scanning, bagging, and payment processing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Inform guests about promotions, new launches, and store events
• Encourage guests to enroll in loyalty programs and apply for store credit cards
• Assist guests in using digital tools, such as the store app and online services
• Process returns in compliance with store policies while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Handle Order Pick-Up, Drive-Up, and gift registry transactions efficiently
• Resolve guest concerns and de-escalate conflicts while upholding store policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding regulated products
• Support overall store operations as needed based on business demands

Job Requirements:

• Accurate cash handling and register operations
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Frequent lifting and moving of merchandise up to 15 lbs; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
