CDL Route Transporter

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the process of unloading donated items onto carts for warehouse organization.
• Organize the inventory by classifying items into soft goods, hard goods, and large furniture pieces to enhance storage efficiency.
• Optimize the weighing and organizing of carts for improved warehouse operations.
• Properly handle route paperwork by verifying weights and performing necessary truck checks.
• Follow established procedures for loading trailers and recording the weights of the merchandise.
• Aid needed in the process of checking daily inventory levels and accurately recording stock details.
• Help with the loading and unloading of trucks for store relocations.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse by ensuring that aisles and walkways are unobstructed.
• Determine the net weight of filled carts by utilizing a calculator.
• Document the cart designations, weights, and time taken for unloading on the driver's route sheets.
• Make sure that delivery reports are accurately filled out in accordance with the required standards.
• Verify that forklifts are in line with safety standards and adhere to company regulations during inspections.
• Adhere to tasks beyond regular duties, which may involve the maintenance of office and restroom areas.

Requirements:

• A person must have reached the age of 18.
• Competence in the safe moving of products.
• Exceptional skills in managing time and organizing tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in fulfilling duties on a flexible timetable, which includes weekends and holidays.
• Displaying meticulousness and capability in executing prescribed organizational procedures.
